Week 1: First Rehearsal

7 kids. 2 directors. 2 hours of rehearsal time. Our very first Empowered Players Troupe rehearsal kicked off the new year with a bang!

Both new students and returning students joined us for our inaugural rehearsal of the year. Starting with introductory name games then progressing to improvisation exercises, the Players had an amazing time learning more about acting and performing.

As a group, we went over our expectations for the semester. Students all agreed to try their best during and outside of rehearsals, and committed to completing all outside assignments and homework. We also promised to act kindly towards one another, and keep rehearsals a safe space for everyone.

We can't wait to dive into more course material in the coming weeks, and grow together as a unit. Stay tuned for more information from our rehearsals!
